The owner has identified a list of pre-qualified bidder. The project is to conduct a comprehensive evaluation and develop scoping documents to remediate any deficiencies with the Now Arena main entrance stairs, which have experienced significant settlement issues. The selected consultant is responsible for: 1. Site Assessment - Kick-off meeting with Public Works and Now Arena Operations - Thorough evaluation of existing conditions, potentially including destructive and non-destructive testing - Recommendation and oversight of third-party testing services and evaluation of findings - Assessment of the condition of facilities, structural soundness, accessibility, and code compliance 2. Draft Recommendations and Implementation Plan - Provide actionable recommendations for addressing deficiencies or improvements - Develop an implementation strategy that maintains event operations as a top priority - Provide opinions of probable cost for both hard and soft costs 3. Final Report - Prepare a final comprehensive report summarizing findings, analysis, and recommendations - Include visual aids such as plans and charts - Present findings if requested 4. Optional Considerations & Approaches - Include any additional recommended scope items Proposal requirements include a firm overview, relevant experience, key personnel resumes, detailed methodology and approach, stakeholder engagement process, timeline for analysis, list of deliverables, detailed budget (including a separate PDF labeled "Draft - Opinion of Probable Costs"), and at least three references from similar projects.
