Renovation of a mixed-use development in Wilmington, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 7,000-square-foot day care center; and two-room educational facility.
Sealed proposals for Single Prime Bids are requested for the construction of alterations to Building L at Cape Fear Community College. The project involves the interior renovation of 7,000 square feet of former dental clinic space into a drop-in childcare facility and two classrooms. There is also exterior work required, including the addition of a deck and outdoor play equipment. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is required for bidders, subcontractors, and vendors, which will address the project scope, description, issues, bidding procedures and forms, including MBE forms, and will provide an opportunity to answer specific questions. Prime bidders are required to attend. Complete plans, specifications, and contract documents can be inspected at the offices of CFCC Capital Projects or requested electronically. CFCC reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals. Should the bidder find discrepancies in, or omission from, the drawings or documents or should he be in doubt as to their meaning, he shall at once notify the designer who will send written instructions in the form of addenda to all bidders.
