Sealed bids are invited for furnishing and delivering the City's annual requirements for the following chemicals: Liquid Alum, Liquid Caustic Soda, Fluosilicic Acid, Sodium Hypochlorite 12%, Liquid Sodium Permanganate, Calcium Nitrate, and Calcium Carbonate Slurry. The chemicals are for use at the City of Asheboro's Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants for the period from April 16, 2026, to April 15, 2027. Each bid must be submitted on provided forms, enclosed in a sealed envelope with the bidder’s name and address and marked 'CHEMICAL BIDS.' No exceptions, unrequested additions, deletions, or modifications to the forms, terms, conditions, or specifications will be accepted. Any such bid will be deemed non-responsive and not considered. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and will award the contract, if any, to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, considering quality, performance, and timing. Only the requested information is to be provided in the bid submission.
