Site work and paving for a playground / park / athletic field in Bismarck, North Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.
Furnishing of materials, labor, equipment, and skill required for the construction of General Sibley Park Roadway Improvements and incidental items. Work includes Mobilization and Demobilization, Traffic Control, Construction Staking, Materials Testing, Erosion Control, Clearing and Grubbing, Removals, Earthwork, Cold Milling Asphalt Pavement, Aggregate Base Courses, Asphalt Paving, Concrete Paving, Seeding, Hydromulching, Cleanup and disposal of construction waste and materials, and incidentals. Bids shall be submitted on the basis of cash payment for the work and materials, with each bid accompanied by the contractor's license and bid security in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full amount of the bid in the form of a bidder's bond. Contracts shall be awarded to the low bid submitted by a responsible and responsive bidder for the aggregate sum of all bid items. All bids must be in a sealed envelope with the work covered by the bidder, the name of the bidder, a separate envelope containing the bid bond and a copy of the North Dakota Contractor's License or certificate of renewal, and an acknowledgment of the Addenda. No bid will be read or considered if it does not fully comply with bond and license provisions. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Contract Performance and Payment Bonds in the full amount of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informality, and accept the bid deemed most favorable to the interest of the Owner. Liquidated damages in the amount of $800 per day will be assessed for each day completion is delayed. Specific scheduling requirements include restrictions on the timing and workweeks for the boat ramp access road, parking lot, and other roadway improvements. QA date - 3-4-2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven (7) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
