Sealed bids are sought for drilling a deep water well at Wylie Park in accordance with specifications on file at the Parks, Recreation, and Forestry office. Bids must be plainly marked on the outside of the envelope with the words "Bid for Wylie Deep Well." Each bid in excess of $25,000 must include a certified check, cashier's check, or draft for 5% of the bid amount, or a bid bond for 10% of the bid, as required by SDCL 5-18-6 to 5-18-10. Contracts over $25,000 require a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond for 100% of the contract amount. No bid may be withdrawn within 30 days after the bid opening. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and award to the lowest and best qualified bidder. Specifications are on file at the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Office and are considered part of the requirements.
