**As of March 25th 2026, the project was awarded to Midland Contracting, Inc, with an awarded amount of $2,524,525.07** Sealed bids are requested for work that includes mobilization, 265,000 cubic yards unclassified excavation, 10,000 cubic yards unsuitable material undercut, 25,000 cubic yards of 24-inch compacted clay liner, 138,000 square yards of 80 mil geosynthetic liner, 750 cubic yards of 12-inch side slope cover material, 800 tons of coarse aggregate, 3,500 square yards of geotextile drainage fabric, 860 feet of 8-inch HDPE perforated leachate piping, 506 feet of 8-inch HDPE leachate piping, side slope cleanout, side slope leachate lift station, connection to existing leachate pipe, 1,000 tons gravel surfacing, 1,400 feet of 8-inch HDPE leachate collection pipe jet cleaning, leachate lift station, storm sewer lift station electrical service, 795 feet of 4-inch PVC forcemain, 125 feet of 24-inch RCP Class 2 culvert, two 24-inch RCP flared ends, 11 acres seed, fertilizer and mulch, 138 square yards rip rap drainage trench, erosion control blanket, erosion control wattle, high flow silt fence, 1,400 feet of 10-foot chain link fence, landfill dewatering, and other miscellaneous work. All work quantities are subject to increase or decrease and must be performed according to the plans and specifications at the unit price bid. Bidders must furnish all labor, material, and equipment required to complete the work as indicated. The complete contract documents, including drawings and specifications, are available for purchase or download from Helms and Associates. One copy will be provided without charge to each contractor resident in South Dakota intending to bid, in accordance with state law.
