Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Jefferson City, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.

The project is for the "Mossy Creek Wildlife Viewing Area Observation Deck Replacement." Sealed bids are to be submitted for this work. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a Cashier's Check or a Bidder's Bond in the sum of no less than 10% of the total amount of the bid, executed on AIA Document A310. The successful bidder may be required to execute a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract sum if the awarded bid exceeds $100,000. Labor and Material Payment Bonds must be on AIA Form A312. All bidders must be licensed contractors as required by the Contractors Licensing Act of 1976 (TCA 62-6-119). Jefferson County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive all irregularities in the receipt or handling of bids. The awarded bidder must be in good standing with the County of Jefferson. This project consists of the demolition, removal, and replacement of two existing observation decks. The existing decks will be fully removed and disposed of in accordance with applicable regulations. New openstyle observation decks will be constructed in their place, including ADA-Compliant access ramps. The new decks will be constructed using composite decking materials and aluminum handrail systems.
