Description

Demolition and site work for a military facility in Newport, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for the demolition of a military facility; and for site work for a military facility.

A contractor is required to provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to demolish a two-piece steel hull structure, remove all resulting scrap metal and waste, and restore the site to its original condition. The requirement includes demolition operations, debris management, and proper disposal in accordance with all applicable regulations as detailed in the Statement of Work. The period of performance is 60 calendar days from contract award, and all work must meet the technical requirements and standards specified for the project. Location: Building 47, Naval Station Newport, 1 Simonpietri Drive, Newport, RI 02841. Primary POC: Michael Ouellette, michael.n.ouellette.civ@us.navy.mil All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing via email to the primary POC no later than 4:00 PM EST on 06 March 2026. Questions will be answered via a formal amendment to this solicitation posted on SAM.gov. Period of Performance: 60 calendar days from date of contract award.
