The project involves the installation of a concrete pad for a picnic shelter in the City Park at 1500 & P Street, on the northwest side along 14th Street. The concrete pad will measure 24x36 feet, be 5 inches thick, and reinforced as specified. The City will stake out the location and the pad must follow the park grading plan. The concrete must be poured as a continuous pour with specifications outlined in the posted detailed Scope of Work. All related work must take place between April 20 and be completed no later than May 8, for scheduled installation of the picnic shelter, and invoices must be submitted by May 31. Bidders must submit the following: timeline of performance, warranty if applicable, two business references from the last 12 months, and a cost quote reflecting the detailed specifications. Only fixed price or not to exceed contracts will be considered. Bid selection is based on cost and warranty/quality guarantee, timeline and references, and proof of business enrollment with the Nebraska Department of Labor and Secretary of State. The selected contractor will work closely with the City and South Central Economic Development District, Inc. (SCEDD) to ensure all grant compliance terms are followed.
