Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Tecumseh, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility; and for the construction of a 5,775-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility.

Sealed bids are invited for the construction of a steel building and installation of two recently purchased generating units. Basic requirements include: supplying and installing a pre-engineered insulated steel building (at least 55’ wide by 105’ long, 16' sidewalls, 1/12 pitched roof, building color selected by owner) including provisions for a switchgear area; supplying and installing station power for the new building including all electrical equipment required for lighting, outlets, load centers, air handling, and all systems under 480V for building and generator operation; supplying and installing reinforced concrete foundations suitable for the building, fuel tanks, transformers, generators, and exhaust stacks; supplying and installing reinforced concrete flooring and cable raceways for the new generator units, with approaches to accessible overhead doors; removing existing generators and sound attenuation systems from their enclosures, reconfiguring, and installing them in the new building; supplying and installing a fuel handling system consisting of bulk outdoor storage for 20,000 gallons in Fireguard style tank(s), and new double-walled day tanks for each engine with necessary pumps, valves, and devices to meet code and function; supplying and installing systems and emissions controls to satisfy US EPA, RICE-NESHAP requirements (new silencers provided by owner). Coordination with other contractors is required to complete a functional generating system. Bidders must visit the site, discuss with Public Works staff, and provide detailed proposals listing all work, methods, materials, and standards, along with references for similar projects. Bid proposals must include a 5% bid guaranty and, if successful, a 100% Performance and Payment Bond from a corporate surety licensed in Nebraska. The City reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any/all bids, holding bids for consideration up to 30 days after opening.
