The scope of work consists of the construction of the AMR Meter Replacement Project where the contractor will provide and replace approximately 1,250 AMR meters and the AMR meter system. Bids will be received for a single prime contract, and bids shall be unit price pay items as indicated in the bid form. Instructions to bidders: Contract documents, including drawings and specifications, may be examined at the designated offices. Bidders must log in or register for a plan room account at www.esiplans.com to view and order bid documents, which are non-refundable and must be purchased through the website. Partial sets of bidding documents are not available and only full sets from the plan room are valid. Electronic bids may be submitted via www.esiplans.com and must be in PDF format, containing all required information and forms, and secured with a bid bond. Each bid must be marked on the outside "Bid for: AMR Meter Replacement Project, City of Guntown" and include a satisfactory bid bond, certified check, or bank draft payable to the City of Guntown in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. Minority and women's business enterprises are solicited to bid as prime contractors and are encouraged to explore subcontracting opportunities for equipment, material, and supply needs.
