The project consists of the construction of a new two-story school building and supporting site infrastructure as shown in the drawings and specifications. Bidders are to submit offers under seal for this construction. Bid Documents for a Stipulated Sum contract can be obtained from the plan room website of the Architect upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit. Bidders are required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or certified check for a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount. Bidders must submit offers on the provided Bid Form, which may be supplemented as appropriate. Sealed bids must be marked with the project name and be received at the Owner's address by the specified time. Electronic Bid Submission is accepted via the Architect's website, with electronic submissions required to include a title page containing the same information as that on a sealed envelope, clearly indicated in the file name. Bids over $50,000 must be marked with the contractor's Mississippi certificate of responsibility number and include proof of Mississippi license. Non-resident contractor bids must include the current state law regarding non-resident contractors or a statement if no such law exists.
