The work includes installation of A304/A304L stainless steel structural support members onto the existing stainless-steel structure located in one of the nitrification tanks at the River Road Treatment Plant. Appurtenant work involves cleaning the existing stainless-steel supports at the mating surfaces, drilling mounting holes in the existing stainless-steel supports, fastening new support members to the existing members, and the removal and installation of new shimming, grout, and the installation of epoxy anchored mounts that fix the existing members to the underside of the existing concrete walking platform. The general characteristics and principal details of the Work are indicated in the technical specifications and drawings. Certified, Treasurer's or Cashier's Check or bid bond in the sum of 10 percent of the bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000, Agreement of Surety, Surety Disclosure Statement and Certification (if bid amount is greater than or equal to $800,000), List of Subcontractors, Ownership Disclosure, Bidder's Affidavit, Non-Collusion Affidavit, References, Acknowledgement of Receipt of Changes, Bidders Check List, and Questionnaire are required with each Bid. uestion Deadline 03/31/2026 To receive consideration, such questions shall be submitted in writing to the Owner/Engineer (Stony Brook RSA, 290 River Road, Princeton, NJ, 08540, 609-924- 8881) at least ten (10) days before the established date for receipt of Bids (Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays excepted). Bidders shall not remove and submit the Bid pages separate from the volume of Contract Documents, but shall submit their Bid bound with the complete volume of attached Contract Documents, including all pages correctly assembled and all Addenda attached.
