The work consists of constructing roadway, pedestrian trail, storm sewer, waterlines, and traffic signals, including all associated appurtenances, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, services, and related items specified and designed for the South Elm Street Widening Project (W. 121st Street - W. 131st Street) for the City of Jenks. Traffic control and scheduling limits for street access are subject to City Engineer approval and require door-to-door notification of affected residents at least 72 hours in advance. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond payable to the City of Jenks for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Bids must be submitted on the required bid form, with all blank spaces for bid prices filled in ink or typewritten, and the bid form fully completed and executed. Proposals/bids must include a completed Statement of Bidder's Qualifications, Section 00230, at the time of submission. Bids containing only the bid form will be rejected. Carriers, alterations of construction time, or qualifications that modify the bid may lead to disqualification. The City of Jenks may waive informalities or minor defects or reject any and all bids. No bid may be withdrawn for at least sixty (60) calendar days following the bid opening.
