Site work for a civil project in Coldwater, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
Severn is requesting proposals from qualified consulting engineering firms to provide professional engineering design, approvals, tendering, and provisional contract administration services for the Coldwater Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and Main Sewage Pumping Station (SPS) Expansion. The Coldwater WWTP currently operates at a rated average day capacity of 921 m3/day and requires expansion to 1,500 m3/day as Phase 1 to accommodate forecasted growth within the Coldwater community and to ensure continued compliance with effluent objectives established through the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment, Environmental Study Report, and Receiving Water Assessment. Question Deadline 03/12/2026 at 4:00 PM ET TIMELINE: Request for Proposals (RFP) for consulting engineers has been issued and extended by the owner. Submissions are under review. All necessary permits and approvals are to be construction tender ready no later than July 19, 2027. It has yet to be determined if the WWTP and the SPS will be tendered separately. Further update upon award of the RFP.
