**As of April 2, 2026, the project was awarded to Rainy Day Roofing, with an awarded amount of $221,590.20** The scope of work consists of, and includes, but is not limited to, the removal of the existing roof shingles and underlayment in their entirety, remove and protect existing copper ridge flashing, repair or replace damaged wood sheathing as necessary. Install new underlayment and wood roof shingles to establish a reliable and long-lasting roofing system. In addition, perform all other associated work as specified in the plans and specifications. Instructions to bidders include: - Bids must be placed in a sealed envelope and received at the specified location prior to the deadline. Late submissions will be returned unopened. - Each bid must be submitted using the forms provided, fully completed and signed, along with required attachments: Bid Proposal, Bid Schedule, Subcontractor List, Noncollusion Declaration, and Bid Security (Cashier's or Certified Check or Bid Bond). - The envelope must be clearly labeled with the project and bidder's information, including contractor license and DIR registration numbers. - Bid security of ten percent of the maximum bid amount is required. - The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the Contract Price. - All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations. - The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements. - A mandatory bidders' conference will be held at the project location. Failure to attend may disqualify the bidder. - Questions or requests for clarification must be submitted in writing at least three working days before the bid deadline. - Each bid must include costs for safety measures as required by law.
