Renovation of a municipal facility in Fremont, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The work consists of the removal of the existing roof shingles and skip sheathing in their entirety. Install new 1/2" plywood roof sheathing, new underlayment, and wood roof shingles to establish a reliable and long-lasting roofing system. In addition, perform all other associated work as specified in the plans and specifications. The project location is 39169 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA 94538. Bid proposals must be completed using the forms provided, signed, sealed, and submitted by the deadline. The bid price(s) must include all costs to perform the work as specified, including all indirect costs such as taxes, insurance, and field offices. Bid security of ten percent of the maximum bid amount is required. Each bidder must submit a completed Subcontractor List form, including required details for all subcontractors exceeding one-half of 1% of the bid price. The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements and may also be subject to the City Minimum Wage Ordinance. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract price. All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations prior to submitting a bid. A mandatory bidders' conference will be held at the project location. Each bid must include all costs necessary for adequate sheeting, shoring, and bracing for safety as required by law. Faxed or emailed bid proposals will not be accepted; late submissions will be returned unopened. All bid forms and required attachments must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly labeled with required information.
