No definite date for the rebid.** The project is located at 34600 Ardenwood Blvd, Fremont, CA 94555 and consists of the removal of the existing roof shingles and underlayment in their entirety, with the existing roof sheathing to remain. The work includes installing new underlayment and wood roof shingles to establish a reliable and long-lasting roofing system, as well as performing all other associated work specified in the plans and specifications. Bidders are required to have a valid California contractor's license for classification(s) C39 and any other specialty licenses needed for the project. All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations prior to submitting a bid. Each bid must be submitted using the provided forms, accompanied by a bid security of ten percent of the maximum bid amount, in the form of a cashier's or certified check or a bid bond. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract price. Each bidder must submit a completed Subcontractor List form, including details on each subcontractor performing work exceeding one-half of 1% of the bid price. The contract is subject to prevailing wage requirements and compliance monitoring.
