Site work for an educational facility in Concord, California. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.

The project consists of roofing restoration and/or replacement with Garland System per plans and specifications at Holbrook and Valle Verde Elementary Schools. Roofing restoration and/or replacement with Garland system at Holbrook Elementary School and Valle Verde Elementary School. Selective demolition and construction necessary for the 2026 MDUSD Roofing Project at Holbrook Elementary School and Valle Verde Elementary School. The project consists of roofing replacement at two campuses, Holbrook Elementary School and Valle Verde Elementary School, with the Garland System. Locations- Holbrook Elementary School (3333 Roland Way, Concord, CA) Valle Verde (3275 Peachwillow Ln., Walnut Creek, CA. 1. remove and dispose of all roofing, edge metal, and counter-flashing down to structural deck. any gutters to be removed and replaced. 2. perform any repairs as needed. 3. nail red rosin paper. 4. mechanically fasten 1/2" wood fiber board per manufacturers wind uplift calculations. 5. install 2 ply modified bitumen system in hot applied asphalt. 6. install new kynar coated edge metal and counterflashing. 7. once all roofs have been replaced: on buildings (indicated with r) apply title 24 reflective coating in 2 coats. (1.5+1.5 gal per square). on walkway/lower roofs install green-lock membrane adhesive flood coat and title 24 approved 3/8" rock at 4 gallons per square and 400 lbs per square (indicated with w). 8. clean off all mastic/asphalt and paint all conduit pipes, vents, and hoods with pyramic to ensure a clean final project. all conduit to be sealed and reattached with proper couplings. lines should be straight and as tidy as possible. any couplings that cannot be properly sealed should be brought to district attention. 9. all drains and gutter downspouts to receive new strainers. 10. at end of every work day ensure the work site and surrounding area is free of any dirt and debris. 11. test all drains and downspout prior to construction and once again after completion. Bidders must submit sealed bids on the forms provided by the District and in accordance with all bid and contract documents, including the Instructions to Bidders. Each bid must include a bid bond, cash, cashier's check, or certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price as bid security. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if awarded the contract. Bidders may substitute securities for any monies withheld by the District to ensure performance. To bid on this project, bidders are required to have been prequalified by the District prior to submitting a bid. Subcontractors performing electrical, mechanical, or plumbing with license classifications C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and/or C-46 must also be prequalified. Bidders must possess an active and valid State of California Contractor License, either B (General Building Contractor) or C-39 (Roofing), at the time of bid opening and throughout the contract term.
