Sealed Bids will be received by the Bid Committee of the Board of School Commissioners of the City of Indianapolis for Technology Infrastructure & AV Upgrades at Shortridge High School. Bidders are required to download the complete bid package and submit a bid response electronically. Late bids will be rejected. The scope includes a new single-mode fiber backbone from the MDF to IDFs, with fiber extended to classrooms, large spaces, and administrative areas to service localized switches. In those spaces, new Category 6A cabling will be installed locally and terminated to the localized switches. The project also includes upgrades to audio/visual systems, the video surveillance system, network switches, wireless access points, and digital signage, along with associated mechanical and electrical improvements within the MDF and IDF roomsto support the new technology infrastructure. Design work will begin immediately following contract award, with substantial completion required no later than July 31, 2027. The scope of work of this project has been divided into two packages. Bidders may bid on any combination of the two packages to be considered a valid bid response but must bid on the complete scope of work of the associated package. A partial response to any single package is not acceptable and will be eliminated. The packages are as follows: 1. Audio/Video Systems and Category 6A upgrades 2.
