**As of May 7th, 2026, the project was awarded to JNA Painting & Contracting Company, INC but the awarded amount is not available.** WFISD reserves the right to reject any and all bids.This request for Competitive Sealed Proposals ("CSP") Step 1 and Step 2 to select a General Contractor or Vendor for the Project as provided by Chapter 2269, Subchapter D of the Texas Government Code. The CSP provides the information necessary to prepare and submit Competitive Sealed Proposals for consideration and ranking by the Owner. The Owner may select the Proposal that offers the "best value" for the District based on the published selection criteria and weight of criteria, and on its ranking evaluation. As indicated herein, factors other than price will be considered in making this determination. The Owner may first attempt to negotiate a contract with the highest ranked Proposer. The Owner may discuss with the selected Proposer options for a scope or time modification and any price revisions associated with the modification. If the board is unable to reach a contract with the selected Proposer, the Owner may formally end negotiations with that Proposer and proceed to the next ranked Proposer in the order of the selection ranking until a contract is reached or all proposals are rejected. 2. Project Description and Scope. WFISD is planning an exterior window panel painting project at the existing Booker T Washington Elementary Campus over the summer of 2026. This project includes the following components: A. Surface prep of subject areas, including power washing the subject areas. B. Minor repairs, as needed (caulking and general maintenance to prepare the surface for adherence of the paint). C. Replacement of deteriorated window covering panels. C. Taping of the painted areas D. Painting of the subject areas with the appropriate type of specialized paint, in a color selected by WFISD, on all exterior window panels. E. Removal of taping and general cleanup of the work areas.
