The project includes full-depth reconstruction of the entire length of West Eagle Street, approximately 2,200 feet, including subgrade stabilization, storm sewers, underdrains, concrete curbs, sidewalk, driveway aprons, and asphalt pavement. Bidders must submit signed, sealed bids using the forms provided, accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond. Bidders must be registered plan holders and submit evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity. All work must be completed within 150 days of Notice to Proceed. Contractors and subcontractors must use, to the extent practicable, Ohio products, materials, services, and labor, and comply with equal employment opportunity requirements. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates for Lake County and the City of Painesville. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, increase, decrease, or omit items, and waive any informalities or irregularities in bidding.
