As of 3/26/26, this project has not yet been awarded. Project set to be awarded on 3/30/26. The scope of work generally includes bathroom renovation work and related improvements in an occupied school, specifically in group bathrooms, in-suite preschool bathrooms, and the Staff Room, along with the installation of an Art Room sink and mop sink. Work includes interior partitions and finishes, electrical and lighting, plumbing, minor mechanical work, demolition and proper disposal, protections to the building, site, and occupants, and all other work as described in the contract documents. Instructions to bidders: Each proposal must be submitted in writing on pages furnished in the contract documents, including the entire Division 0 of the Bidding Document and required supporting documentation, with two copies of the bid and related documents. Bidders and requisite subcontractors must be NJ DPMC Pre-Qualified Contractors and submit the Notice of Classification Form 27 and Amounts of Uncompleted Contracts Form 701 with the bid. All contractors and subcontractors must provide a Business Registration Certificate. The successful bidder is responsible for securing permits and possessing trade licenses as required. A bid bond or certified check for at least 10% of the bid amount or $20,000 (whichever is less) is required. The Surety must provide Performance and Payment Bonds, each for 100% of the contract price. Bidders must comply with all relevant affirmative action, anti-discrimination, prevailing wage, public works registration, and project labor agreement requirements, including related submission forms and certifications.
