The City of Ames is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide design services for improvements to the Hauled Waste Receiving System. The scope includes modifications for more efficient unloading, improved preliminary treatment, adequate storage, and greater operational control of hauled wastes at the Water Pollution Control Facility for the Water and Pollution Control Department. Proposals must be submitted electronically in the required format via AmesBids, with all prices and requested data provided. All proposals must acknowledge receipt of addenda and be received before the specified deadline. Only registered suppliers can submit proposals in AmesBids, and all costs of proposal preparation are the responsibility of the submitting firm. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities, and to make awards in the City's best interest. Questions and requests for clarification regarding these services must be submitted through AmesBids by the specified cutoff date.
