Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lone Tree, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
The project consists of providing all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to install 1691 SY of 7-inch PCC Pavement, 131 SY of sidewalks, 167 SY of 6-inch PCC driveway, traffic control, mobilization, and other associated appurtenances and miscellaneous work items. All work and equipment is to be in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents on file with the City Clerk of the City of Lone Tree, Iowa. Bid security in the amount of 10% of the bid is required, and the contractor must furnish a performance, payment, and maintenance bond for 100% of the bid with a maintenance period of three years from the time of final project acceptance by the owner. Monthly estimates will be made equivalent to ninety-five percent of the contract value of the work completed during the preceding calendar month with five percent retainage. The remaining retainage will be paid within 30 days after final acceptance by the City. Bidding documents can be purchased from Hart-Frederick Consultants P.C. for $20.00 per set, refundable if returned within 14 days after the award of the contract and in a reusable condition.
