Renovation of a swimming pool in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.
The project consists generally of replacing and upgrading the existing pool filter at the Pullen Aquatic Center Pool located at 410 Ashe Ave, Raleigh, NC 27606. Bidders are required to show evidence that they are licensed to perform the work as specified in the Bidding Documents and North Carolina General Statute, Chapter 87. The City encourages and provides equal opportunity for certified Minority and Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) businesses to participate. The prime contractor must identify MWBE participation in their Bid and explain how this participation will be achieved. The City’s goal is to contract or sub-contract fifteen percent (15%) of the contract amount to certified MWBEs on projects over $300,000 or with contracts including $100,000 or more in state funding. Requirements for pre-bid submittals of an “or-equal” must be in accordance with Section 00200, Instructions to Bidders. Bidders must supply company name, contact person, street address, phone number, email address, N.C. contractor’s license with limitation and classification, and indicate the firm's role as Prime bidder, Supplier, or Sub-Contractor when requesting Bidding Documents.
