The City of Windsor is seeking sealed bids from qualified electrical contractors to provide for a complete electrical rewire of the Windsor City Pool House and grounds. Sealed bids must be marked "Pool Electrical Services" and be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2026. Interested contractors should contact the City Administrator for a detailed scope of work. The City reserves the right to refuse and/or reject any and all bids. The City of Windsor is soliciting sealed bids from qualified, licensed, and bonded electrical contractors for the complete removal of existing, outdated electrical wiring and the installation of a new, modern electrical system at the City of Windsor Pool, located at 300 W. Industrial Drive, Windsor, MO. The goal is to modernize the facility, eliminate safety hazards (e.g., aging wires, insufficient grounding), and comply with current NEC, ADA, and state/local codes. 2. Scope of Work The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required to perform the following, including but not limited to: o Site Survey: Conduct a detailed site inspection to identify all existing electrical components, circuits, and potential hazards. o Demolition: Safely remove all existing electrical wiring, conduit, panels, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures, unless deemed usable and compliant by the city inspector. o Service Upgrade: Upgrade the main service panel, including new breakers, to handle modern, higher-capacity loads (e.g., new pump, HVAC). o Rewiring: Install new wiring throughout the facility, including conduit, circuits, and panelboard. o Wet Location Compliance: Install NEC-compliant GFCI outlets, weatherproof covers, and proper sealing in locker rooms, showers, and pool equipment areas. o Lighting: Install energy-efficient LED lighting fixtures in interior (locker rooms, offices) and exterior areas. o Bonding and Grounding: Ensure all metal components (ladders, handrails, pumps, structural steel) are properly bonded and grounded according to NEC Article 680. o Final Inspection: Pass inspection by the City Building Inspector Questions Deadline: March 12, 2026, at 10 a.m
