Palm Beach County is seeking proposals from design firms to provide engineering and environmental services for assessment and remedial activities on selected properties in support of the County's property assessment, contamination assessment, and remediation program on a continuing contract basis as required by the Facilities Development & Operations Department and other County agencies. Task assignments will be subject to scope definition and determination of level of effort on a task-by-task basis. Services may include professional architectural services, geotechnical and survey services, customary civil, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical engineering services, landscape architectural services, permitting, and construction administration services. Work may involve modification, expansion, or addition of existing facilities or design of new facilities for County governmental services, generally with construction costs for each project not exceeding $7,500,000 and requiring an architectural firm as the lead consultant. Prior to submission, any firm or individual desiring to provide services must be CCNA certified by the County’s Engineering and Public Works Department. Proposals will be evaluated based on selection criteria set in the RFP including Affirmative Procurement Initiatives (APIs) with a mandatory minimum 20% SBE participation goal. Any proposal not meeting the required goal will be deemed non-responsive unless a waiver is approved.
