Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in West Bend, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 75,000-square-foot, two-story above grade, one-story below grade medical facility.

Sealed proposals are invited from qualified firms to perform architectural design and engineering services for the development of a new Health and Human Services Building for Washington County, located in West Bend, WI. The services required include but may not be limited to conducting a space needs assessment, the design and engineering of the new building, plan and specification development, cost estimating, contract document/bid document development, and construction administration for the project. The selected firm must develop project documents to the Countys satisfaction with a completion date for phases 1 and 2 by December 31, 2026. Firms must have proven, successful experience in designing Government Buildings, preferably with an emphasis on Health and Human Services buildings and Morgues for Wisconsin Municipalities, and must have completed or remodeled at least one similar project within the past five years for communities similar in size to Washington County. Firms are required to include at least three reference projects for similar buildings completed in the past five years. The Health and Human Services building is estimated to be approximately 75,000 square feet, with at least a partial basement, two stories, elevator, pharmacy, and morgue. This is a traditional design, bid, build project, intended for award to one firm, contingent upon budget and funding approval for each phase. The selected firm will be required to furnish an acceptable Certificate of Insurance upon award.
