The Base Contract includes the full-width mill and overlay of portions of two Township roadways (3,920 SY/351 TON), including 880 SY of pavement repair and 120 TON leveling/scratch course. The Contract also includes work along five Township roadways, such as 640 SY of pavement repair, the replacement of 4 Type C inlet tops, and the replacement of 7 Belgian block curb blocks. Alternate/Add-On No. 1 consists of the full-width mill and overlay of Woolley Drive and Crescent Drive (3,900 SY/350 TON), including 100 TON leveling/scratch course. Alternate/Add-On No. 2 covers the replacement of 20 LF of 15" CMP with 24 LF of 14" x 23" ERCP along Mud Road, including endwalls and rip-rap. All work and materials must comply with PennDOT Standards and Specifications. Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the Township, available on PennBID. A completed and signed "Public Works Employment Verification Form" is required as a precondition for award and must be submitted with the bid. Proposals must also include an electronic copy of a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the total bid amount, made payable to Wrightstown Township, and an executed Non-Collusion Affidavit. The successful bidder must provide bonds or irrevocable letters of credit for 100% of the contract amount to secure performance, maintenance, and payment for materials and labor. The award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder, but the Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, or delete items from the contract at its discretion. No bid may be withdrawn for up to 30 days after the bid opening while the Township reviews bids and bidder qualifications. LOCATION OF WORK: The Base Contract will include work along the following roadways (or portions): Fox Hill Drive, Martindell Drive, Mud Road, Hallowell Drive, Woolley Run, Crescent Drive and Thompson Mill Road. Alternate/Add-On No. 1 will include work along Woolley Run and Crescent Drive. Alternate/Add-On No. 2 will include work along Mud Road.
