Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Palmyra, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The scope of work includes construction of a multi-use concrete trail including site clearing and grubbing, earthwork, culverts, storm sewer, aggregate base, concrete pavement, erosion control, seeding, and miscellaneous associated work. All proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond on the prescribed form, executed by a satisfactory corporate surety company, or a bank cashier's check, irrevocable letter of credit, or properly certified check payable to the City of Palmyra, Department of Parks & Recreation for not less than 5 percent (5%) of the amount bid, or for the amount listed in the specifications. The City of Palmyra reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive technicalities, and to determine the qualifications of contractors. No bid may be withdrawn after bids are opened. Not less than the prevailing wage rate as determined by the Missouri Department of Labor shall be paid to all workers performing work under this contract. Bids may be held for up to 60 days for review and investigation of bidder qualifications prior to awarding the contract. The project is funded through RTP/federal funds and will follow all applicable laws.
