Renovation of a municipal facility in Goshen, Massachusetts. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The project includes the furnishing of all labor, equipment and materials required to complete masonry in-kind repairs, the installation of gutters, and kitchen accessibility improvements at the John James Memorial Town Hall in Goshen to preserve and restore the historic appearance and support increased public accessibility. Bidders must make a good faith effort to achieve the goals of the Federal Minority and Women's Business Enterprise policy regarding utilization of MBEs and WBEs. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified or cashier's check, payable to the Town of Goshen, is required in a dollar amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. A performance bond and labor and materials bond for 100% of the total contract price, issued by a satisfactory surety company shall be required by the successful bidder. All bids are subject to State and Federal minimum wage rates, with the higher rate prevailing, and compliance with relevant laws and grant program requirements. The Town of Goshen reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to accept proposals deemed to be in the best interest of the Town, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received. Bids may not be withdrawn within 30 days of the bid opening. Bids must be changed or withdrawn prior to the bid opening by submission of such a change in writing in a sealed envelope, identifying the submitting party and indicating that it contains a correction of the bid for the project. Submission and review of bids must comply with applicable regulations and policies. The lowest qualified responsible bidder shall be awarded the contract, subject to funding availability. Question Deadline 03/16/2026 at 3:00 PM ET Questionsregarding bid process, plans, and specifications should be directed in writing to Erica Johnson, Chief Procurement Officer, Pioneer Valley Planning Commission, ejohnson@pvpc.org
