Renovation of a multi-residential development in Wenham, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 4,155-square-foot, three-story above grade multi-residential development.
The project consists of comprehensive interior and exterior renovations at 2A Dexter Lane, including new flooring, painting, cleaning, mold remediation, and selective repairs across all levels of the home. Major upgrades involve basement reconstruction, kitchen improvements, bathroom fixture replacements, attic insulation and fire-rating work, and targeted structural reinforcement. Exterior work includes painting, roofing repairs, and flashing replacement as part of a full restoration and code-compliance effort. Instructions to bidders: Sealed bids will be received by the Town of Wenham Select Board. Prevailing wage rates are required as per M.G.L., Chapter 30 Section 39M and associated reporting. Each bid must include a Bid Bond, certified check, treasurer’s or cashier’s check, or cash payment in the amount of five percent of the bid as Bid Security, made payable to the Town of Wenham. The successful bidder must furnish a Payment Bond equal to 50% of the contract amount. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety days after the designated opening date. Bids are subject to the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 149. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any deemed in the best interest of the Town, and may limit the extent of the work to stay within available funds.
