Renovation of an educational facility in Walled Lake, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Firm prime contractor bids are requested to provide district-wide safety and security glazing. Bidding documents, including plans and specifications, are available for viewing and ordering through PreconSuite, or for review at the office of the Construction Manager. Each proposal must be submitted in duplicate on forms provided by the architect, completed in full, sealed in an opaque envelope marked with the bidder’s name and project name, and addressed as instructed. Proposals must be delivered by the stated deadline either in person or electronically, and must include a bid bond or cashier’s check for at least 5% of the proposal sum for bids over $31,321. Proposals shall be firm for 60 days. Successful bidders whose proposals are $50,000 or more must provide a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of their bid. Bids must also include sworn and notarized statements regarding familial relationships, compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act, and background check and prevailing wage compliance. The Board of Education reserves all rights regarding acceptance, rejection, and evaluation of bids.
