Sealed bids are requested for the Main Street Walkway Sidewalk Construction project. The estimated construction items include: 30 cubic yards of common excavation, 65 cubic yards of granular backfill, 1,100 square feet of removing concrete sidewalk, 900 square feet of 4-inch concrete sidewalk, 200 square yards of lawn restoration, and 50 linear feet of 6-inch storm sewer. Bids must be accompanied by bid security totaling 5% of the maximum bid amount. Bid security will be retained if the successful bidder fails to execute the agreement and provide 100% performance and payment bonds. Bidders must pre-qualify by submitting a Bidder's Proof of Responsibility five days before the bid deadline in accordance with Wis. Stat. 66.29(2). The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and/or accept the most advantageous bid.
