Consulting firms are invited to apply to be placed on a quick response consultant source list to provide 'as and when required' professional services related to commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional construction work required by the Department of National Defence at 15 Wing Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Disciplines include architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical. Typical services include preparation of a statement of requirements, preparation of concepts, design development, construction documents, and assistance during the tendering and construction phases for new buildings or renovations to existing buildings. Only consulting firms with offices within 100 km of Defence Construction Canada Building 64, Room 216 Bushell Park, SK S0H 0N0 will be considered. If a firm or associated company has more than one office or division within this radius, only one office or division may apply. Each source list will be valid for three years with an estimated maximum value of $600,000 per list. Individual commissions should be between $5,000 and $75,000, with a maximum commission value of $100,000. Consulting firms must submit their application through MERX’s electronic bidding system. Firms may be selected on a rotational basis and required to confirm qualifications. Some contracts may require deliverables in both official languages, and firms must indicate their capability if this is required. Consulting firms must comply with applicable laws, codes, and municipal by-laws, and be eligible to be licensed or certified to provide required professional services in Saskatchewan.
