Renovation of a water / sewer project in Cincinnati, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of April 14, 2026, project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The MBE subcontracting goal for this bid is 7%. The WBE subcontracting goal for this bid is 3%. The City reserves the right to waive informalities not inconsistent with law or to reject any or all bids/proposals. Questions or requests for additional information regarding this solicitation shall be directed in writing to the assigned City of Cincinnati Buyer, Alexa Kafury, via email at alexa.kafury@cincinnati-oh.gov. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, supervision, and contract administraon to paint fire hydrants within areas serviced and maintained by Greater Cincinna Water Works. Greater Cincinna Water Works is looking to have 4500 fire hydrants re-painted. The new hydrant colors will represent the different levels of water flow and idenfy the rated pressure in each hydrant. The purpose is when firefighters arrive at the scene of a fire, they can determine by the color of the hydrant whether they are connecng to one with ample water flow. This project also serves to make the hydrant bright so firefighters can easily idenfy the hydrants in the dark. Lastly, this project will help beaufy the community by updang hydrants with vibrant colors, while the paint will also protect the metal from rust and decay.
