DBE Program race-neutral goal is 10.54%. This work will be consistent with the adopted goals, objectives, and programs of the City of Port St. Lucie City Council. All work shall be in accordance with the project plans prepared by The City of Port St. Lucie Public Works Department. The City of Port St. Lucie aims to improve the network of pedestrian facilities throughout the city focusing on the safety of the citizens as the City's priority. Green River Parkway is a two-lane, two-way roadway which extends across Port St. Lucie's Sandhill Crossing Neighborhood. The asphalt trail parallel to Green River Parkway to the east is known as the Green River Parkway Trail and makes up a portion of Florida's Shared-Use Non-motorized (SUN) trail. The City of Port St. Lucie proposes to make improvements to the trail by saw-cutting and repairing damages portions of the existing trail, then resurfacing the existing trail using +/-3 inches of asphalt followed by a +/-1 inch of asphalt overlay. This project includes all work associated with the proposed improvements including, but not limited to, earthwork, clearing and grubbing, sod installation, and any other accommodations needed to complete the project in accordance with the construction plans prepared by the City of Port St. Lucie Public Works Department.
