Simmons Rockecharlie & Prince -trockecharlie3@srpeng.com The project is generally described as the replacement of existing Boilers, Pumps, and Water Heater with new equipment, including new electrical and controls, at Baker-Butler Elementary School. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope or electronically by the stated deadline. A Bid Bond is required for any bid exceeding $100,000. The contract will be awarded on a lump sum basis, including the Total Base Bid Amount and any additive items the Owner chooses to award. Contractor registration according to the Code of Virginia is required. Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids, and other relevant information are included in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders are responsible for downloading any addenda issued for this bid from the County procurement website. The estimated construction cost range for this project is $350,000 - $500,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
