Mercer County Community College is soliciting sealed bids for Loop Road lighting improvements on the College's West Windsor campus. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a single overall contract for these improvements. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the instructions provided, including using the correct envelope labeling and completing all required forms. Bidders must comply with all applicable state requirements, be prequalified in specified categories, and provide bid security. Failure to comply with instructions or to submit all required forms may result in disqualification and rejection of the bid. The College reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all proposals or sections thereof. No vendor may withdraw a bid within 60 days after the date of bid opening. The Work of this Contract comprises the removal of designated existing site lighting infrastructure and the installation of new lighting improvements at Mercer County Community College (MCCC), including all related site electrical work. The Work includes, but is not limited to: Removal and disposal of selected existing light fixtures, poles, and footings. Installation of new Owner-furnished light poles and light fixtures as shown on the Contract Drawings. Installation of underground electrical wiring. Installation of new light pole footings. The project is divided into two phases corresponding to separate power distribution centers: Base Bid: Work fed from the Western Power Distribution Center. Alternate Bid: Work fed from the Eastern Power Distribution Center. The Owner will furnish all light poles and light fixtures. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for complete and operational installation as shown and specified.
