Renovation of an educational facility in Berkeley, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Office renovation at the southeast corner on level 5 of the Gateway building. The shelled space from phase 1 will be turned into two offices, one conference room, and one hallway. The Owner will provide many of the long lead materials that have already been procured by the base building contractor, for this bidding contractor to install. To allow the University to evaluate bidders, each bidder must submit with its bid, a Contractor’s Special Statement of Experience on the Contractor’s letterhead. The Contractor’s Special Statement of Experience must include: 1. Documentation that the bidder has successfully completed as prime contractor, a minimum of three (3) and a maximum of five (5) comparable tenant improvement projects, with a construction value at award of $900,000 or greater, completed in the past seven (7) years that demonstrate the bidder’s ability to successfully complete the project with respect to project size, cost, use, complexity, etc. Do not include projects currently under construction. All submitted projects must be within the immediate nine Bay Area counties (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma counties, California). 2. Documentation that the bidder’s Project Manager and Superintendent have successfully completed a minimum of two (2) comparable projects in the past seven (7) years that meet the criteria listed in 1a above. Provide resume with comparable projects listed. 3. For each project include: (a) project name, (b) project address, (c) owner’s name, (d) contract value at award, (e) total Change Order value, (f) completion date, (g) Owner’s Representative email address and current phone number, and (h) describe how project is comparable to project being bid. List all tenant improvement projects on all UC Campuses and National Labs (LBNL, LLNL) the bidder has completed or currently working within the last 5 years, if any.
