Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Morrison, Illinois. Working plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Morrison is requesting bids from qualified contractors for road surface parking and traffic control markings within its Central Business District. The project includes concrete surface preparation, striping and paint markings, traffic and parking control during the project, and site cleanup/restoration. Work will occur within the boundaries of Lincolnway, North Clinton Street, North Orange Street, and Market Street, but will not include markings on these boundary streets. Contractors must submit a detailed cost estimate, a proposed timeline, and warranty information, and be prepared to provide references, proof of insurance, and relevant licenses. This is a prevailing wage project subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and the Public Construction Bond Act. The City reserves the right to reject any proposals. Payment terms include 10% upon contract execution and the remaining balance upon project completion and acceptance.
