Sealed bids are requested in a single contract proposal for the removal and replacement of select handrails and guardrails at the North Bend Housing Authority's Airport Heights apartment complex, primarily located at the corner of Lincoln Avenue & 11th Street in North Bend, Oregon. The new handrails and guardrails will be brought up to current commercial code, constructed of steel, and finished with material-appropriate paint. Limited concrete work will also be required. LOT NUMBER: 25S-13-16-AC-00900 Bids must be in writing and delivered to the office of Crow/Clay & Associates Inc., Architecture and Planning. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered. Construction documents may be examined at specified locations or obtained from the Architect's office upon deposit. Online documents are available free of charge to registered bidders and suppliers. The mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the jobsite. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by bid security in the form of a Cashier's Check or a bid bond for 10% of the bid amount. The project is subject to Davis-Bacon Minimum Wage Rate Requirements. Within two hours after bid opening, all bidders must submit a form disclosing all first-tier subcontractors whose contract value exceeds 5% of the total project bid or $15,000, whichever is greater. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive minor irregularities, and accept bid forms and subcontractor information via hand delivery, mail, or email; fax is not accepted.
