Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
The work consists of two parts: Part 1 - City Funded Work, which includes asphalt reconstruction and associated works, as well as sewer repairs and associated works on Arlington Street from Inkster Boulevard to Enniskillen Avenue; and Part 2 - Federally and Provincially Funded Work, which includes asphalt mill and fill and associated works on McPhillips Avenue from Emes Road to North Point Boulevard. Major components include abandonment and installation of catch basins, sewer service pipes, manholes, new combined sewer, removal and renewal of sidewalks and curbs, pavement removal, excavation, sub-grade compaction, placement of various materials including geogrid composite, sub-base, base course, concrete pavement, curbs, asphalt pavement, site grading, and landscaping such as sod and hydroseeding. Sewer repairs involve video inspections, point repairs, reconnections, and manhole installation. Asphalt mill and fill work includes pavement removal, re-grading of ditches and slopes, milling, concrete repairs, patching, and associated works.
