The City of Oconomowoc is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to remove and replace approximately 3,300 square feet of existing concrete sidewalk squares at various locations throughout the City. All work for the following tasks shall be in conformance with the included specifications and current City of Oconomowoc Specifications and Standards. The City will provide updated detailed maps showing replacement locations at the pre-construction meeting. The project locations are the following: o Summit Ave from Lyman St / George St to S Silver Lake St Group 1 is the priority for 2026 work. Group 2 will be completed if budget allows & depending on resident sign up. o Misc. areas throughout the city: 248 Hillside Dr 810 York Imperial Dr o Additional locations determined throughout project. Remove, replace, and dispose of approximately 3,300 S.F. of existing 4" and 6" thick concrete sidewalk and driveway squares at locations to be marked in the field by City Staff. Work includes removal of tree roots encountered within the footprint of sidewalk section damaged by the roots. This work must be completed by October 16, 2026. Bids shall be accompanied by bid security made payable to owner in an amount of 5% of bidder's maximum bid price in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check. Bidder shall be required to submit a Qualification Statement to owner with its bid. Bidder awarded a contract for the work shall be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond in the full amount of the contract price. Bid and bid security may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the bid deadline. Bid security shall be forfeited to City of Oconomowoc if the bidder is awarded the work and fails to execute the agreement and furnish 100% performance and payment bonds. The City of Oconomowoc reserves the right to select any firm's proposal that it deems the most advantageous and serves in the best interest of the City.
