General Bidders must be certified by DCAMM in Roofing. The TOWN OF NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH PUBLIC WORKS, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the Roof Replacement - North Attleborough Wastewater Treatment Facility at North Attleborough Wastewater Treatment Facility in Attleboro Falls, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by GORMAN RICHARDSON LEWIS ARCHITECTS. Selection of the Contractor will be based upon bidder qualifications, including evidence of past performance in similar projects, and bid price and as outlined in the Bid Documents. Roof Installer shall be a company specializing in Modified Bituminous Roofing with a minimum 5-years experience, completing at least 3 projects of similar size and scope in the last 5 years and certified by roofing system manufacturer as qualified to install manufacturer's roofing materials. The General Contractor shall be DCAMM certified in the Prime Category of Roofing. The contract will be awarded to the Bidder deemed by the Awarding Authority to be the lowest responsible and eligible bidder. A. Project Identification: The name of the Project on the Contract Documents is 1. North Attleborough Wastewater Treatment Facility Reroofing Project 2. 30 Cedar Road 3. Attleborough Falls, Massachusetts, 02763 B. Work in this Contract shall include, but is not limited to the following items: 1. Remove and dispose of existing modified bitumen roof assembly and all associated components down to the existing concrete structural deck; install new 2-ply SBS modified bitumen roof assembly and all associated components 2. Remove and dispose of three (3) existing roof vents where indicated on the drawings on Roof Area B. Infill roof deck with new metal deck and concrete prior to installing new roofing assembly. 3. *Filed Sub-Bid Work: Plumbing* Remove and dispose of existing roof drains and all associated components; install new roof drains and all associated components. 4. *Filed Sub-Bid Work: Masonry* Remove and dispose of existing throughwall flashings and all associated components; install new throughwall flashings and all associated components 5. *Filed Sub-Bid Work: HVAC & Electrical* Temporarily disconnect, raise, and reconnect plumbing, HVAC, and electrical components where necessary in order to obtain adequate flashing heights. 6. *Unit Price* Repair existing concrete structural deck where necessary. 7. *Unit Price* Replace deteriorated wood blocking where necessary. 8. *Unit Price* Replace deteriorated structural metal deck where necessary. C. The Contractor will have no use of the interior of building unless authorized by Owner. All access to the roof to be provided by the Contractor from the exterior. D.
