Properly dispose of removed decking. Replace decking with composite decking, including all required accessories and fasteners. Remove four (4) existing sliding doors and replace with new sliding doors. Properly dispose of removed sliding doors. Existing Deck Structure Existing deck framing, ledger boards, support posts, and footings are intended to remain unless deteriorated after decking removal. Expose deck framing for inspection after removal of decking. Notify the Architect of any deteriorated, rotted, rusted, or otherwise compromised structural components. Do not proceed with structural repairs or replacement without direction from the Architect. Salvage and reinstall existing PVC railings unless damaged during removal. Repair or replace any damaged, deteriorated, or missing railing components in kind to match existing. All Work either shown on the drawings or included in the specifications unless specifically indicated as not to be done.
