Renovation of an educational facility in Fresno, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Sealed bids are invited for the construction of the Nelson Modernization Phase I project as per the specified drawings and specifications. The project will be bid as multiple prime contracts, including a package for Classroom Casework requiring a C-6 contractor license. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting at Nelson Elementary. The successful bidder must complete the work by July 17, 2026, and provide payment and performance bonds, each for 100% of the contract price, from an Admitted Surety. Bids must be sealed and delivered to the Clovis Unified School District Purchasing Department. Faxed bids will not be accepted. A bidder's bond, cashier's check, or certified check for at least 10% of the base bid must accompany each bid. Inclusion of the DVBE Declaration of Good Faith Efforts to use Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises is required in the sealed bid package. The successful bidder may substitute securities or establish an escrow in lieu of retainage, pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 22300.
