Description

Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Vermillion, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

A new 105,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art indoor facility will provide our athletes with a world-class facility that they can train, compete, and recover at the highest level. This facility represents USD’s commitment to providing student athletes the resources they need to reach their full potential – athletically, academically, and personally. The new facility will feature a 200-meter banked track with a pair of perimeter warm-up lanes, a 60-meter straightaway, long jump, triple jump, pole vault, high jump, and throwing cages. The facility will also include indoor practice areas for other sports such as soccer, tennis, softball, etc. The construction budget for the project is estimated to be $36,000,000 but be advised that this number is subject to change. The completion date for this project is June 2028.
