The work to be performed includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services to install a lawn in the area previously occupied by a tennis court at 39 Main Street Goshen, MA. The undersigned declares s/he has carefully examined the Request for Quotes/Scope of Work and location of work for the above-mentioned project and proposes to perform the work in accordance with all requirements of the proposal. The price quoted shall include all items of labor, materials, tools and other equipment and costs necessary to comply with the work detailed in the Scope of Work above. The work to be performed includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services to install a lawn in the area previously occupied by a tennis court as follows Remove asphalt walkway and debris pile Power rake to remove debris, as needed Apply 6" to 8" topsoil containing 20% clay to an area 68' x 124' including a two-foot perimeter edge of topsoil to transition into the existing turf. Apply topsoil as above in area of removed walkway, 4'6" x 24' Finished surface to be sloped to drain either with a longitudinal crown with a minimum slope of 1.5% or a sheet flow toward the wooded area as contours permit (to be determined in the field) Apply recommended amounts of lawn starter fertilizer and lime Broadcast drought resistant grass seed mix over area Cover area with seedless straw mulch Repair any damage caused to the existing lawn during construction. Removal of asphalt sidewalk. Site preparation, installation of topsoil, and application of grass seed.
